  1. 1. Does my session include mixing and mastering?

    While mixing and mastering is a service that we provide, it is not included in the session rate and is offered as separate services unless explicitly arranged with the engineer. At the end of your session, you will receive a soft mix. The session rate covers studio time and an engineer, if you booked one. If there’s time remaining during your session, you’re welcome to have the engineer begin mixing or mastering; however, any additional services beyond the session time will need to be separately negotiated with the engineer.

  2. 2. Is smoking allowed in the studio?

    Smoking or vaping of any kind is strictly prohibited inside the studio. Smoking is permitted only in the designated outdoor area. Please note: Any smoking inside Studio A will incur a $1,000 fee, while smoking in Studio B will result in a $500 fee.

  3. 3. Can I use my own engineer?

    Yes, we allow outside engineers to use our facilities. However, we require an assistant and/or intern to be present for all sessions. The assistant fee is $100 per day.

  4. 4. What are your operating hours?

    We are open by appointment only, allowing you to schedule your session at any time during the day. Please note that sessions booked after midnight will incur an additional charge of $20 per hour. Please note that Eng. rates may change for after hours sessions.

  5. 5. What do I need to book a session?

    To book a session, a 50% deposit is required. The remaining balance is due before the start of your session. Please note that files will not be transferred until the final invoice has been paid in full.

  6. 6. Can I book a session on the same day?

    Yes, same-day bookings are allowed, but they require at least 3 hours' notice. An additional $50 fee will apply to all same-day bookings.

  7. 7. What are your rates?

    Our rates are customized to meet your individual needs. We have hourly, day, and project rates. Rates in Studio A differ from Studio B. A consultation with the Studio Manager is highly encouraged. Please note there is a 3-hour minimum required to book a session. Additional conditions may apply.

  8. 8. Can I host events or workshops at Warm Studios?

    Yes, you can host your event or workshop at Warm Studios! To get started, please schedule a consultation with the Studio Manager for more details and planning assistance.

  9. 9. What recording DAWs do you use?

    We use Pro Tools, Ableton, and Logic for recording sessions. If you prefer, you’re welcome to use your own interface as well.

  10. 10. Am I allowed to bring my family or friends to the session?

    You’re welcome to bring up to three people to sit in on your session. However, out of respect for other clients using the studio, we kindly ask that you limit guests to those directly involved in the session.

  11. 11. What is your cancellation policy?

    If you cancel more than 48 hours before your scheduled session, your deposit can be applied toward a new session. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session will result in the forfeiture of your deposit, and it will not be applied to future sessions. All sessions must be rescheduled within 30 days. *Some exceptions apply
    Please note: Canceling or rescheduling a single-day hourly session will require full payment to secure future sessions.

  12. 12. How will my music be provided when I leave the session?

    Our engineers will provide you with a soft mix or "walkout" version of your song in both .mp3 and .wav formats. We can also transfer the session to you. Please bring a hard drive with at least 50GB of free space so files can be transferred.
    Please note: We are not responsible for backing up your session data. It is your responsibility to back up your files. If you need us to send session files after the session has ended, a $50 recall fee will apply. Files will be deleted 7 days following your session.

  13. 13. Do you know any local or any musicians that can be available to play guitar, drums, bass, keys, etc., on my song or project?

    We can outsource musicians for your session through our network of talented session players. However, please note that these musicians are contracted independently and will need to be paid their rate, which is not included in the studio booking fee. We can provide their contact information, but it’s your responsibility to arrange payment directly with them.
