Studio Rates

**Full-day booking required (10-hour minimum)**

Includes full use of the selected studio, control room, and live room, along with all instruments and equipment listed on our site.

1. 1. Does my session include mixing and mastering?
   

   No. Mixing and mastering are separate services unless explicitly arranged in advance. Your studio room rate covers room time only. Engineer services are billed separately and typically range from $400–$600+ per full day, depending on the engineer and scope of work you require. At the end of your booking, you will receive a soft mix (“walkout mix”).

2. 2. Is smoking allowed in the studio?
   

   Smoking, all vaping, illegal or recreational drugs and hard liquor of any kind is strictly prohibited inside the studio. Smoking is permitted only in the designated outdoor area. Please note: Any smoking inside the studio will result in a $1,000 fee. We reserve the right to deny services to anyone that we feel is under the influence or acting irresponsibly. Your session will not be refundable.

3. 3. Can I use my own engineer?
   

   Yes, we allow outside engineers to use our facilities. However, we require an assistant and/or intern to be present for all sessions unless otherwise decided. The assistant fee is $300/day.

4. 4. What are your operating hours?
   

   We are open by appointment only, allowing you to schedule your session at any time during the week. Please note that sessions booked after midnight will incur an additional charge of $50 per hour. Engineering rates and assistant rates will also increase.

5. 5. What do I need to book a session?
   

   A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking on our calendar. The remaining balance must be paid the morning of your scheduled studio time. Files will be released within 24 hours of receiving full payment as .mp3 and .wav formats. No files will be transferred until payment is received in full. You must provide your own hard drive with at least 50gb.

6. 6. Can I book a session on the same day?
   

   24hr notice with full payment and an engineer confirmed is required to book within that short time.

7. 7. What are your rates?
   

   Studio A and Live A are available as full-day bookings only at $1,200 per day (10 hours). Studio B and Live B are available as full-day bookings only at $600 per day (10 hours). Bookings under 10 hours will still be charged the full-day rate.

8. 8. Can I host events or workshops at Warm Studios?
   

   Yes, you can host your event or workshop at Warm Studios! To get started, please schedule a consultation with the Studio Manager for more details and planning assistance.

9. 9. What recording DAWs do you use?
   

   We use Pro Tools, Ableton, and Logic for recording sessions. If you prefer, you’re welcome to use your own interface as well.

10. 10. Am I allowed to bring my family or friends to the session?
    

    You’re welcome to bring up to two people to sit in on your session. However, out of respect for other clients using the studio, we kindly ask that you limit guests to those directly involved in the session. As a professional establishment, we do not allow entourages, groupies, fans, or the likes.

11. 11. What is your cancellation policy?
    

    If you cancel more than 48 hours before your scheduled session, your deposit can be applied toward a new session. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session will result in the forfeiture of your deposit, and it will not be applied to future sessions.

12. 12. How will my music be provided when I leave the session?
    

    Our engineers will provide you with a soft mix or "walkout" version of your song in both .mp3 and .wav formats. We can also transfer the session to you. Please bring a hard drive with at least 50GB of free space so files can be transferred.
    Please note: We are not responsible for backing up your session data. It is your responsibility to back up your files. If you need us to send session files after the session has ended, a $50 recall fee will apply. Files will be deleted 7 days following your session.

13. 13. Do you know any local or any musicians that can be available to play guitar, drums, bass, keys, etc., on my song or project?
    

    We can outsource musicians for your session through our network of talented session players. However, please note that these musicians are contracted independently and will need to be paid their rate, which is not included in the studio booking fee. We can provide their contact information should they be interested, but it’s your responsibility to arrange payment directly with them.
